| The obligatory laundry basket picture One thing I've come to decide: I am expecting WAY too much of myself. After all, Ilse and I haven't even been home from the hospital two weeks. I recovered mega fast from the c-sections.... it's just going to have to be ok if I need longer to recover from the NICU. |
Ilse is BEAUTIFUL, and you're wise to realize...you just can't do it all. Rest with your new little one as you both heal. Enjoy each precious day, as they go by so fast. May God give you peace, joy, comfort, wisdom and, above all...His presence.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics of your precious Ilse Joy. She looks beautiful and cozy at home! Take time to adjust to your new life...you don't have to have it all together overnight! Having a new baby at home is hard enough, let alone one that has been in the NICU. Take it easy and don't be too hard on yourself. You're doing a wonderful job! ;)
